Terms of Service
In short: only connect apps you own or are authorized to test. Our reviews reduce risk but can't guarantee your app is free of vulnerabilities. You stay responsible for your app and for the changes you make. We keep your information confidential.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of safe2vibe.com (the "Site"), the waitlist, and the Safe2Vibe service, including automatic scans, reports, fix prompts, expert hours and the Safe2Vibe Seal (together, the "Service"). By using the Site or the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company, and "you" refers to it.
1. Who can use Safe2Vibe
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must give us accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.
2. Free review and updates list
The free review covers one review of one live app from its web address (level 1), delivered as a report within 2 business days of a verified authorization. It's limited to one free review per app and per person or company, and we may decline requests we can't verify. Signing up for updates is free and doesn't create an obligation for you or for us.
3. Authorization to test
This is the most important rule. You may only connect, scan or request a review of an app, website, repository or database ("Target") that:
- you own, or
- you have written permission from the owner to test.
By connecting a Target, you confirm that you have this authority and you authorize Safe2Vibe and its reviewers to access and test it within the scope of the Service. Tests that require a signed-in user must use test accounts you create for that purpose. You must not ask us to test third-party services that your app uses, such as payment or hosting providers, beyond what their own terms allow.
We may ask for proof of ownership or authorization, and we may refuse or stop a review at any time if we have doubts. Our Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.
4. What the Service does, and doesn't do
The Service combines automated tools and human review to identify common security, privacy, reliability and scalability problems, and suggests fixes. You acknowledge that:
- No review finds every problem. The Service is not a guarantee that your app is secure, compliant or free of defects. See our Risk notice.
- Fix prompts are suggestions. You decide whether to apply them. AI tools may implement a suggestion differently from what we intended, so review and test every change before using it in production.
- We don't change your code or data. We use read-only access unless you explicitly agree otherwise in writing for a specific task.
- It's not legal or compliance advice. References to laws or standards are general information. A Safe2Vibe review is not a certification under any law or standard such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA or GDPR.
5. Expert hours
Plans may include a number of expert hours per month. Unless your plan says otherwise, unused hours don't carry over, and hours are counted in increments described in your plan. Reviewers are independent members of our community who work under our standard and supervision. All communication with them happens through the Service.
6. The Safe2Vibe Seal
The Seal is governed by our Seal Terms. In short: it reflects the result of a review on a specific date, it must be renewed, and we can revoke it.
7. Plans, fees and payment

- Billing. Plans are billed monthly in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, and renew automatically each month until you cancel. Prices exclude taxes, which may be added where required.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing us. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid month, and you won't be charged again.
- Refunds. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If we can't deliver your first report within 10 business days of a verified authorization, you may ask for a full refund of that first month.
- Expert hours. Hours are counted in 15-minute increments and don't carry over to the next month.
- Price changes. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to you.
8. Your content and confidentiality
You keep all rights to your app, code, data and content ("Customer Content"). You give us a limited license to access and process Customer Content only to provide and improve the security of the Service. We will keep Customer Content and your review results confidential, share them only with the reviewers and providers who need them, and process personal data in it under our Data Processing Addendum.
We may use aggregated, anonymized information that doesn't identify you or your app, such as the frequency of certain vulnerability types, to improve the Service and publish research.
9. Our property
The Site, the Service, the Safe2Vibe standard, reports format, software and brand belong to Safe2Vibe. You get the right to use the Service and your reports for your own business. You may share your reports with your team, customers, investors and auditors.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by testing Targets you are not authorized to test, using findings or prompts to attack others, reverse engineering the Service, reselling it without our agreement, or interfering with its operation. See the Acceptable Use Policy.
11. Disclaimers
The Site and the Service are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will detect all vulnerabilities or that your app will be secure.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law: (a) we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, including losses arising from a security incident in your app; and (b) our total liability for all claims relating to the Site or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100 if you haven't paid us anything. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Safe2Vibe and its reviewers against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms, in particular from connecting a Target you weren't authorized to test, or from your app or Customer Content.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect others. After termination we will delete Customer Content as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will update the date at the top and, for material changes, notify customers at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Safe2Vibe's operating entity is established, which will be identified in your order or account, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at hello@safe2vibe.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live.
17. General
These Terms, together with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement between you and Safe2Vibe about the Site and the Service. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right, we don't waive it. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them as part of a merger or acquisition. If there is a conflict between a translation and the English version, the English version prevails.
