Acceptable Use Policy
In short: Safe2Vibe exists to make apps safer. Use it only on apps you own or have permission to test, and never to attack, spy on or harm anyone.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to customers, reviewers and anyone who uses the Site or the Service.
You may
- Scan and request reviews of apps, websites, repositories and databases you own.
- Scan targets you have written permission to test, such as a client's app when you are their agency, within the scope of that permission.
- Share your own reports with your team, customers, investors and auditors.
You may not
- Test without authorization. Connect, scan or request reviews of any target you don't own or aren't authorized in writing to test. Scanning someone else's app without permission may be illegal.
- Use findings to cause harm. Use reports, findings or fix prompts to exploit vulnerabilities, access data you're not entitled to, or attack anyone.
- Test third-party platforms. Point our tests at platforms your app depends on, such as Supabase, Firebase, Stripe, Vercel or your AI provider, beyond what their own terms allow.
- Use real people's accounts for testing. Tests behind the login must use test accounts created for that purpose, never real users' accounts or credentials.
- Upload unlawful content. Use the Service to process data you have no right to process, or content that is illegal.
- Abuse the Service. Overload it, probe or break its security, bypass usage limits, scrape it, or reverse engineer it.
- Misrepresent the Seal. Display a Safe2Vibe Seal you haven't earned, that has expired or been revoked, or imply a certification Safe2Vibe hasn't given. See the Seal Terms.
- Resell without agreement. Resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.
- Circumvent our reviewers. Contact reviewers outside the Service to hire them directly for work related to your review.
Reviewers
Reviewers must also follow the Reviewer Terms, including confidentiality and the rule to only access the projects assigned to them.
What happens if the rules are broken
We may refuse a review, remove findings, suspend or close accounts, revoke a Seal, and report illegal activity to the authorities. We may also cooperate with the owner of a target that was tested without authorization.
Report misuse
If you believe Safe2Vibe is being used against your app without permission, email security@safe2vibe.com. We'll investigate promptly.
