Reviewer Terms
In short: as a reviewer you work for Safe2Vibe, not directly for our customers. You keep everything you see confidential, only access what's assigned to you, follow the Safe2Vibe standard, and never test anything without authorization.
These Reviewer Terms apply to developers who apply to or join the Safe2Vibe reviewer community ("Reviewers"). Applying through the waitlist doesn't create an engagement. If you're accepted, you'll sign a reviewer agreement and a confidentiality agreement that include these principles and the specific payment terms.
1. Applying
When you apply, we use the details you give us to evaluate your application, as described in our Privacy Policy. Acceptance may include a skills assessment and identity verification. We may accept or decline applications at our discretion, and we don't guarantee a minimum amount of work.
2. Relationship
Reviewers are independent contractors, not employees, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. You're responsible for your own taxes and for complying with the laws of the country where you work. You choose when and how many hours to take, within the availability you commit to for each assignment.
3. Working through Safe2Vibe
- Customers contract with Safe2Vibe, not with you. All communication with customers happens through the Service.
- You may not ask customers to work with you outside Safe2Vibe, or accept such work related to a Safe2Vibe review, during your engagement and for 12 months after you last worked on that customer's project.
- You represent Safe2Vibe professionally in every interaction.
4. Confidentiality
Everything you see while reviewing — customer code, data, findings, credentials, business information and the existence of the review itself — is confidential. You must:
- use it only to perform the assigned review;
- never copy it to personal devices, personal accounts or public AI tools;
- never share it with anyone, including other Reviewers not assigned to the project;
- delete any working copies when the assignment ends.
These obligations continue after your engagement ends.
5. Security rules
- Only access projects assigned to you, using the access provided by the Service.
- Use test accounts provided or created for the review, never real users' accounts.
- Never run destructive tests, denial-of-service tests or social engineering, and never test anything outside the authorized scope.
- Use multi-factor authentication and keep your devices updated and secured.
- Report immediately to security@safe2vibe.com if you suspect a leak, a mistake or unauthorized access.
6. Quality and the standard
You'll follow the Safe2Vibe review standard and the guidance for each assignment. Your work may be reviewed by senior Reviewers. Levels such as Reviewer, Senior reviewer and Seal lead depend on the quality and reliability of your work. Only Seal leads may approve a Seal.
7. Conflicts of interest
Tell us before accepting an assignment if you have a personal or business relationship with the customer or a competitor, or any other conflict. Don't review an app you helped build.
8. Payment
Hourly rates, how hours are recorded and approved, payment schedule and payment methods will be set out in your reviewer agreement. Hours must reflect real work on assigned tasks.
9. Intellectual property
Reports, notes and other work you produce for Safe2Vibe belong to Safe2Vibe, which licenses them to customers. You keep your general skills and knowledge.
10. Ending the engagement
You or Safe2Vibe may end the engagement at any time, subject to finishing or handing over active assignments. We may end it immediately for breaches of confidentiality, security rules or these terms.
