Seal Terms
In short: the Safe2Vibe Seal says that, on a specific date, your app met the Safe2Vibe standard and a senior expert confirmed it. It's valid for a limited time, must be renewed, and links to a public verification page.
These Seal Terms are part of our Terms of Service.
1. What the Seal means
The Seal confirms that:
- your app was reviewed against the version of the Safe2Vibe standard in force on the review date;
- no open Critical or High findings remained at the time of approval;
- a senior Safe2Vibe reviewer approved the result.
2. What the Seal doesn't mean
The Seal is not a guarantee that your app is free of vulnerabilities, a certification of compliance with any law or standard, or an endorsement of your company, product or business practices. See our Risk notice.
3. How to earn it
- Have an eligible plan and connect the app you want certified.
- Complete the automatic scan and the expert review defined for the Seal.
- Fix all Critical and High findings and pass the re-check.
- Receive final approval from a senior reviewer.
4. Validity and renewal
The Seal is valid for 6 months from the approval date, as long as your app keeps passing our automatic re-scans. To keep it, you must renew the review before it expires. Each Seal shows its approval and expiry dates on its verification page.
5. Verification page
Every Seal links to a public page on safe2vibe.com that shows the app's name and address, the approval date, the expiry date and the current status. It never shows your findings, code or data. The Seal must always link to this page.
6. Suspension and revocation
We may suspend or revoke a Seal if:
- a re-scan finds a new Critical or High issue that isn't fixed within the period we tell you, typically 14 days for Critical and 30 days for High;
- your app changes substantially and isn't re-reviewed;
- you stop being a customer, or your plan no longer includes the Seal;
- we learn the review was based on false or incomplete information;
- you breach these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
When a Seal is suspended or revoked, its verification page will show that status, and you must remove the Seal from your app and materials.
7. How you may display it
You may display the Seal on the certified app, your website and your sales or investor materials, as long as you:
- use the official artwork without modifying it;
- only display it for the certified app, not for other products or your whole company;
- keep the link to the verification page;
- don't describe it as a certification, guarantee or legal compliance.
8. Trademark
"Safe2Vibe" and the Seal are trademarks of Safe2Vibe. Your right to display the Seal is a limited, revocable, non-transferable license that ends when the Seal expires or is revoked.
